International cult expert Sofie Pirkle will support you to feel better from the toxic election cycle we are all experiencing regardless of what your politics are, and speak about cult dynamics and the toxic influence Americans have been in for the past 9 years. She’ll introduce a trauma-informed cult recovery approach to connection, equipping you to feel safe in your body regardless of the election outcome, and encourage safe, non-toxic, respectful conversations with friends and family whose views have been impacted by manipulative practices. The goal is to help empower you to feel better in your own body, and have tools to connect with people you want to, or need to interact with who may have different views from you.
Sofie aims to unite Americans regardless of political beliefs through human connection and respectful communication, to create spaces where people can think independently, understand different viewpoints, and coexist harmoniously. Not to change minds, but to foster mutual respect and peace.
About Sofie:
Sofie Pirkle is an international leader and mentor to cult survivors and community leaders, and a pioneer in the trauma-informed community. For 30 years, she has educated and supported thousands of people to recognize and protect themselves from cult dynamics and intentionally and unintentionally manipulative practices, understanding their toxic side effects: physical, emotional and financial pain. Her mission is to help leaders and others break free from harmful influence, fostering safe and empowering cultures where each of us can truly make an impact.
As a childhood cult survivor herself, Sofie has unique insight into cult mentality and what Americans have been experiencing politically for the past 9 years. For three decades, she has dedicated herself to making these complex dynamics understandable to everyone and helping to ease the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and specializes in Complex PTSD.
